Dani the German Shepard
Dani is our beloved 11 1/2 year old German Shepard. Dani has an impressive history that includes 5 years as a working Police K9. In that position for the police department he was either at work or training 6-7 days per week over the course of 8 years. These dogs learn to respond instantly to their handlers commands. They are required jump up and over obstacles, and in some cases are even thrown over fences or climb ladders in order to continue a pursuit. Once in contact with a suspect the K9 must use all of their strength to apprehend and control the movement of the perpetrator. Trainings and work hours are primarily during the cold early morning hours in dark warehouses and tight corridors. This takes a tremendous toll on the dogs and their life span as a result is expectantly shorter than that of a family pet. Most police K9’s suffer from joint discomfort – it is the number one job hazard.
Dani is our pet now, but only a short time ago he laid his life on the line every day to ensure safety for others.
About a year ago we noticed Dani slowing down. Like most aging dogs, it took him longer to get up when called. He was not interested in going for walks or playing fetch. He began taking the long way to the lower yard, so as to avoid stairs. Age had set in and he was not comfortable. He began losing weight because he was skipping meals. He just lost his vigor for life. He did not have the quality of life that you want for those you love. He had become discouraged and depressed. He was not even interested in cats!
We started Dani on Healthy Motion and Whole Dog Daily. Within only a couple of days, there was a noticeable difference. Dani was again eager to respond to the call of food and affection. He was rolling around on the lawn with his favorite baseball, and we saw the spring in his step once again. In addition to the obvious benefits of the joint formula, Dani is finishing his food because he loves the supplements! The additional benefits of the green foods and probiotics are having a positive impact on his digestion. Before putting him on GDN, his stomach was so loud while digesting that it would wake me up!

A Note About Complete Calm
Just a short note to expound on the marvelous product of yours, Complete Calm. I have two Cavalier King Charles dogs. The older girl, Cricket, gets very anxious during thunder storms. I gave her a Complete Calm for the first time a few weeks ago and was astounded at the results. Within twenty minutes she was calm and relaxed. Living in Florida, we experience sudden storms quite often. This product is paws down over all others I have tried.

A Special Need
As a companion animal professional, I care for special needs animals. I deal with quite a number of animals with fears, phobias, terrors – and have had the chance to try just about every solution out there for calming a dog in stress. I have tried wraps, flower essences, a variety of herbal and homeopathic remedies, old wives tale recipes. You name it, I’ve tried it.
About two years ago, we took a new rescue into our own home. Jake is a 130 pound guy, very protective of us, very confident. Until it storms, or there are fireworks. As soon as it starts to rain, he begins panting, waiting for the thunder. At the first clap, this big proud boy tries desperately to climb onto us, in sheer panic. So the quest for help became personal. Again, I went through the list of options, to no avail. And then, at a trade show, I got some samples of Complete Calm.
I almost disregarded it, to be honest. I had lost all faith that anything could help him. I tossed the samples on my nightstand and forgot about them for a few days. Greetings,
I’m taking the time to write this letter because of your great product: GreenDog Naturals Healthy Motion. My dog, Angel, was diagnosed with bursitis in her shoulder. The vet prescribed Rimadyl. I read how bad the side effects of this pill were along with so many others.
I chose to opt for an herbal, no side effect treatment; so my search began. When I found Healthy Motion everything I could have asked for ingredient-wise was there – even more. I immediately saw results in Angel the next day. She literally hopped on three legs trying to get around before taking the Healthy Motion. Now, she is once again walking and playing on all fours. A Big Difference
I have a six year old Golden Retriever, with a broken leg. Up until now she has sure struggled to gt up the steps and she has had no pep. I recently stopped at a health food store to purchase some items for myself. They were giving out samples of Healthy Motion so I took them, thinking I have tried almost all I know, with no relief for this dog, so maybe this might work. I sprinkled it on the dog food and my dog loved the taste even wanting more food. Within three days the dog was moving through the house with a much improved attitude and she is even putting some weight on this leg. I would recommend this miracle food to anyone who owns a dog and loves them. It has made a remarkable difference in my dogs health.

Quick Relief
My fiancé and I always spend Christmas Eve at his parent’s house. When we woke up Christmas morning their dog Teddy (4 year old 25-30lb basset hound, cattle dog, something something mix) was in so much pain he couldn’t walk. Anytime you got near his back leg he would start to cry. So I ran up to one of the stores and got him some healthy motion powder and gave him a double dose. His parents were freaking out and decided it was time to go to the emergency vet. We had to carry Teddy out to the car and off to the vet we went.
By the time we arrived it had been about an hour since I gave him the healthy motion. He was already able to walk in on his own, just limping a little bit. They immediately took him from us and disappeared. 3 hours later when they come to see us they said he might have a slight sprain in his leg, but he really looks fine. They gave us a prescription for an anti-inflammatory and pain relief drug. Then they brought him back out to us. By that time, he was running to the door and jumped in the car like nothing was ever wrong.
I was so impressed with how quickly the healthy motion turned that day around for him! His parents were also so impressed that I was able to convince them not to give him the drugs and let it heal naturally. Getting his parents to let me help them the natural way has always been a struggle for me.

Healthy Motion & Sam
Healthy Motion product has made a huge difference in our dog Sam. I just wanted to write to you to emphasize what a terrific product this is. Sam, a Wheaten Terrier, is 14 years old and, while in pretty good health, had become markedly less mobile over the past year or so. He no longer jumped up on “his” chair, would only go about 100 feet on walks before wanting to turn around and go home, and stopped any kind of running at all.
We started to put the Healthy Motion powder in his food and within three days we noticed a big difference in Sam’s ability to move around. Now he’s back to jumping on the chair, likes to go on long walks, and actually runs when he wants to (he’s always been pretty laid back). We did nothing different besides start him on Healthy Motion. I should also mention that Sam would never voluntarily eat any of the glucosamine tablet/treat products on the market (he’s a pretty picky eater), but he seems to love the taste of the Healthy Motion powder.

Good News for Max the Great Dane
We recently rescued a Great Dane who was on a prescription of Rimadyl to ease his arthritis pain. This medication is known to have side effects and even shorten a pet’s life. In addition it is very expensive. Further, it requires constant vet attention to monitor the health of the dog.
We are writing here to talk about an organic whole food supplement product by GreenDog Naturals called Healthy Motion and what it has done for our dog.
He’s five years old, and he was having a hard time getting up. He was also walking with a limp. He was very slow and never seemed to have much energy.
We gave our new dog, who weighs 170 pounds, three scoops of Healthy Motion a meal (twice a day) to start, and within just three days he started running around like he was a puppy again. We were amazed at the results in just five to 10 days. We slowly weaned him off the expensive and potentially dangerous drug of Rimadyl to find he no longer needs it. We were even able to reduce the Healthy Motion to two tiny scoops twice a day.
He is like a new dog! He is able to get up without any trouble, and the limp is completely gone. We call Healthy Motion our miracle worker, and are very grateful that it does such a fantastic job! We have been telling everyone we know that has dogs with trouble moving that they need to try Healthy Motion. We have a lot of faith in the product!

Max, the Great Dane

I want to thank you and my Red Bandanna Store for Healthy Motion. I have two dogs, both 8 years old. Sasha a boxer lab mix, and MoJo, a Rhodesian mix. MoJo suffered an extensive joint injury at 2 years of age. Since that time I was giving him Ark Natural Joint Rescue, and then when that didn’t seem to work, my vet prescribed Rejuvenate. For two years, this Rx worked well, however, in this past year, the same dosage has given him diarrhea.
Sasha was adopted this past year, she has arthritic hips, and has diarrhea with the prescribed dosage as well. We tried halving the dose within the AM and PM feedings, giving every other day; with no change in this unpleasant dietary upset. During this time, all food and treats were consistent, so I am sure that it was the Rejuvenate. My Red Bandanna store manager suggested we try the Healthy Motion.
I bought the powder formula and tried it that same day. Both dogs loved it and we have not experienced any dietary problems at all. When you compare the ingredients, they appear very similar to the Rejuvenate. I believe the only real difference is in the amount of flax seed oil, and the addition of ginger in Healthy Motion. Whether this is indeed the fact, I am not sure, but with all the increased use of omega oils in foods, both human and pet, I am of the belief that these essential oils from the fish source is better digested by our pets than those from the plant source. The addition of ginger is just “icing on the cake” to ensure “happy tummys.” So, thanks so much, I am very happy with your product and grateful for the comfort of my beloved dogs.

Whole Dog Daily & the Triple Threat
We have been buying your product at the Wedge Community Coop in Minneapolis, Whole Foods Market in St. Paul, and Mississippi Market on Selby.
Our three canine friends have always been on certified organic diets – they are all from the St. Paul Shelter – Jackie, Chula and Tiberius Crane. We are well aware of the need to be proactive with regard to our companion’s health, as well as maintaining ongoing preventive care.
Whole Dog Daily has improved our companion’s mobility, and Jackie, our 12 year old Shepherd, instead of struggling to climb the steps to our bedroom, now seems to be more often than not running up the stairs. All three have been jumping off our deck (instead of taking the steps), and their eyes seem brighter, and their hair has taken on a beautiful glow.

Romeo the Rescue
Romeo is a 13 month old “high-energy” German Shepherd/Chocolate Lab mix. We adopted Romeo from AFRP in November 2008, he is a Hurricane Gustav rescue, transported from Louisiana to the Bay Area.
Romeo’s health issue (besides a bit skinny and no muscle tone from lack of exercise, see AFRP photo attached) was chronic diahhrea. We had the vet run a parasite test which came up negative, prior to the adoption he had 2 courses of de-worming.
The vet recommended antibiotics, however we opted to start Whole Dog Daily with 1 tsp mixed in his kibble every morning. Within a week his stools firmed up. Gradually his fur has grown in and it now has a glossy sheen.
Whole Dog Daily offered great results and we will continue to add to his morning kibble.
